A certain number of cards—typically ten—are dealt to each player, and the remaining cards are arranged in a draw pile. Before discarding one card from their hand, each player takes a turn drawing frrummy aapom the draw or discard pile. Until one player successfully melds all of their cards into legitimate sets or runs, the game is over. Depending on which version of Rummy is being played, the rules may differ slightly, but the fundamental principles always apply.
